We are Middle Tennessee’s premier kayak outfitter. We are located on the beautiful Red River right outside Clarksville, TN, just a short 45 minute drive from Nashville. The Red River might just be the best hidden gem in Middle Tennessee for paddlers. With small, gentle rapids and a quiet, serene setting, the Red River is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day with friends and family of all ages on the water.
Here at Run-a-Muck, we do things a little different. We realized early on that we aren’t just renting people kayaks, we are providing an experience. From beginning to end, we want your experience with us to be one filled with good times, good people, and great memories. So whether you’re new to kayaking, or you’re a seasoned river rat, we want you to come and be a part of our sometimes chaotic, but always fun hangout on the river.
How it Works
Reserve your rental online, and we will provide you with everything you need to enjoy your trip on the river. It's easy. On the day of your trip, just come to our shop and check-in, hop in the van, and ride to the put-in point about 10 minutes away. Once there, we provide you everything you need to enjoy a relaxing seven mile float down the river ending at our shop. At the end of your float, you can just walk to your car or back up to our shop where you can grab a cold drink or bite to eat from our sister company, The Dairy Dog, and tell a story or two with some new friends.
